CAMPUS BIRD SEARCH

08:30:00 –
10:30:00

There’s more to the main U.C. campus than libraries and lecture halls! Find and learn about some of the birds that make Cal their home. We’ll focus on the Eucalyptus Grove/Grinnell Natural Area around Strawberry Creek. Species we hope to find include chickadees, warblers, sparrows, towhees, and perhaps Hermit Thrush. Beginners are warmly welcome.

Sunday October 17
8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Bring binoculars if you have them. If not, we will have some pairs to share. This trip requires a relatively small amount of walking; no stairs, but part of it is on grass or unpaved, uneven ground.

Trip is limited to 20 participants; advance registration required. Click here to register, starting on October 10th. Meeting place and directions will be emailed to registered participants.
